Introduction

According to Ozzy Osbourne’s announcement, he won’t be going on tour this year in Europe or the UK. The 74-year-old musician said that his touring days are “over” in a statement.

Osbourne cited “old age” as the reason behind his choice but did not provide a timetable for his anticipated return to the stage. In September 2022, at a game between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams, Osbourne gave his most recent public performance.

Ozzy Says His Touring Days Are Over

In February 2022, Osbourne initially declared his retirement before his long-awaited farewell tour across Europe and the UK. At the time, he declared that he wanted to spend more time with his family and explore other artistic pursuits.

Ozzy’s full statement below

Ozzy Osbourne’s decision to postpone his eagerly anticipated farewell tour of Europe and the UK this morning is really sad news. Osbourne said in a statement that his days of touring were over since his body was no longer capable of supporting him on the road.

Osbourne announces: “This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans. As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine.”

Ozzy went on the Explain: “My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.

“I am honestly humbled by the way you’ve all patiently held onto your tickets for all this time, but in all good conscience, I have now come to the realization that I’m not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/UK tour dates, as I know I couldn’t deal with the travel required. Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really FUCKS ME UP, more than you will ever know.

“Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way. My team is currently coming up with ideas for where I will be able to perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.” Say’s Ozzy.

Ozzy Osbourne reveals Parkinson's diagnosis

The renowned singer, his kids, and his wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, open up about the secret health fight he went through after a fall and a Parkinson’s diagnosis last February in an exclusive interview with Robin Roberts for “Good Morning America.”

“It’s been terribly challenging for us all,” Osbourne told Roberts. “I did my last show New Year’s Eve at The Forum. Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves.” Says Osbourne.

Osbourne disclosed that he had Parkinson’s disease, a neurological condition with no known cure that generally advances slowly in affected individuals. This further complicated the situation.

What was Ozzy Osbourne accused of?

Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of Black Sabbath, made headlines on February 19, 1982, for yet another daring stunt. Osbourne had bitten off the skull of a live bat at a concert two months before to the event and spit it into the audience.

He was now being prosecuted for urinating intoxicatedly on what he believed to be an ancient wall. In reality, it was the Alamo Plaza in Texas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

At the moment, he had been intoxicated. He stumbled towards one of San Antonio’s most historically and culturally significant structures while wearing his girlfriend’s green dress, and used his todger to relieve himself. Years later, after thinking back on the offence, Ozzy said;

“I was legless with a bottle of Courvoisier in my hand at nine o’clock in the morning, and I wanted to take a pee. So I find this old wall, and I had this green evening dress on, and I’m standing there having a leak.”

Soon after, a policeman showed there and handcuffed him. The musician was detained at the Bexar County Adult Detention Facility before being freed when his $40 bond was paid by performance organisers.
