In a recent interview with the Historias Rockeras podcast, former Sepultura vocalist and current Soulfly expert Max Cavalera discussed his resolve to avoid self-repetition and noted that the style and approach of many of the albums he’s released over his career have shifted. Additionally, he mentioned that metal has no limits, which is thrilling for anyone trying to express something entirely original within the genre.
